Homme House Wedding photography // Anna + Phil

The gorgeous people that are Anna & Phil got married earlier this year and they chose the equally gorgeous wedding venue, Homme House to do so...

This was my first wedding at this venue, but needless to say, I am already looking forward to going back again! It has stunning grounds and beautiful rooms inside too; of which we spent most of the day due to the weather being typically English!

Anna got ready in the bridal suite in the Main House, while Phil had his tribe of boys with him in the Coach House, which is a separate space attached to the main house. You can read all about their accommodation on their website!

Phil & Anna filled Homme House with lots of details and flowers... the staircase looked awesome! You'll get some great wedding inspiration from their wedding photos if you are looking to do something similar!

They really wanted to get married outside in front of the Summer House, but due to the weather, they opted to keep dry and had the ceremony in the panelled room which can seat up to 90 people and has huge windows to let loads of soft light in. Great for photos!

Personal readings were read out by friends during the ceremony. Anna & Phil wrote their own wedding vows and they both touched on similar things in their relationship which was extremely sweet, but also very funny.

After their ceremony, everyone took the chance to get outside for a big group photo and confetti, before heading back in for drinks and canapés. The wedding breakfast was served and pudding was... eventful!

The Bride & Grooms favourite desserts were served out on platters for one guest on each table to serve out. There was a prize for the person who served it in the most extravagant way. It started off quite tame, with Gordan Ramsey style plating up, until one table decided to go one better by putting plates on top of guests heads as they the poured cream and topped it with fruit. Table by table the extravagantness got more and more until we had people stood on tables, lay on tables with the decor put back on top of them and to end it all, the bestman stripped down to nothing but his boxers with a chefs hat and apron! It was so much fun to watch and photograph! The guests had a blast!

Normal service was resumed after dinner with some teas and coffees from different places all over the world! Anna & Phil danced their first dance, followed by Anna dancing with her Dad. The night ended with everyone on the dance floor having the best time ever!

Thanks so much to Anna & Phil for asking me to photograph their wedding day! It was so much fun and one I will not forget!

I hope you all enjoy looking through the mountain of photographs here and get some inspration if you are planning your own wedding, espiecally if it is at Homme House. It's a fabulous wedding venue!

Lots of love Sam x
