A family farm wedding with buddhist ceremony, worcestershire // lisa + marcus

I love all my clients! It is always such an honour to be asked to photograph a couple's wedding day. I always seem to be asked questions like "what is the best wedding you've ever shot?" and "have you ever seen anything crazy happen at a wedding?" People always want juicy info about other peoples days - but truly, I've never really seen anything 'crazy' or 'weird'. I think everyone's days are so alike but so different in the same amounts. It's always two people in love who want to share their wedding day with family and friends, all be it a small handful of close relatives or a big do with everyone and their dog! All of them to me are awesome!

But if there was one 'stand out' wedding of the last few years it has to be this one. Shot back in 2014, this wedding was a dream to photograph. So much eye candy to photograph!

Lisa & Marcus had a buddhist ceremony held in one of the fields to the family farm to celebrate their marriage to each other. 160 guests consisting of family and friends were there to celebrate with them. Lisa & Marcus both wore Vivienne Westwood. Lisa wore the 'baby doll' wedding dress while Marcus teamed his gorgeous Grey suit with a bright orange bow tie. After the ceremony, everyone had drinks from the Busbar before entering the amazing tipi for dinner. Everyone had ice-creams from the van for desert. Frank wondered around all day - he's the farms pig... adorning his own neckerchief. A cake made of cheese was one of the main centre pieces in the tipi, along with the fire pit where guests toasted marshmallows. I absolutely LOVED shooting this wedding for such a gorgeous couple! I'd love to do more like this, so if you're planning a wedding that is going to be a little bit special... get in touch.
