Chloe and Luke's wedding day was by far, one of the most heart-felt and beautiful wedding ceremonies I have ever been too.
This cute couple live in Chesterfield together, but decided to come back home to the West Midlands to get wed, so that they could celebrate in style with all their family and friends. They both wanted a chilled out summer wedding, so decided to organise just that!
Their wedding ceremony was held in Oldbury in the West Midlands at their local family church. The pastor of the church was an old family friend and he and his wife conducted their ceremony. People sung hymns to live music and close friends blessed the couple with their own prayers. Everyone sang their hearts out - It was very emotional. Luke & Chloe oozed their love into every word of their wedding vows.
Chloe wore a lace floor length dress which she brought from an outlet that sells end of line dresses! Very Savvy! As you can she, Chloe looked stunning! She teamed the gorgeous gown with shoes from Monsoon, dried flowers in her hair and a dried flower bouquet.
Luke and his boys had mismatching suits. Luke brought his suit from Burton, and they all wore converse!
A tea party was had immediately after the ceremony with cake, teas and coffees The Bride and Groom greeted all their wonderful guests and then everyone made their way to the big party at Avoncroft Museum.
The stunning Guesten Hall was filled with paper lanterns hanging in the air and beautiful table settings and decorations that Chloe and her mom made themselves!
After some group photographs, I took the happy newlyweds off to do some couple portraits. Avoncroft Museum offers so much in the way of locations for photos. I will never get bored of photographing there! I love the difference in textures and colours of all the buildings and barns.
As part of their relaxed wedding feel, they ordered a pizza food truck for their wedding breakfast and the 'wedding cake' aka 'pudding' was homemade brownies in different flavours - White chocolate, Ferrero Rocher and Chocolate orange... Guests signed one of Luke's old guitars and then people sat and listened while heart warming speeches were given.
The party started with a bang when the live band started and Chloe and Luke took the floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Guests danced the night away along with having hot drinks and crepes from another food truck! Amazing idea!
I feel so very privileged to have been able to capture this gorgeous couple's wedding for them. Thank you so so much Chloe and Luke for asking me! It was ace to share your amazing day with you!
Here are some of their wedding photos from the day.... Sam x
