I absolutely love working at the wonderful Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove Worcestershire. They offer all the usual stuff for your wedding - wedding and civil ceremony's as well as the space to hold your reception there too!
I've photographed quite a few weddings here and I simply cannot get enough of the place! There are so many different areas to shoot, every wedding can be completely different from the last. The windmill obviously features quite a lot in all the weddings I have photographed there - but it is the star of the show after all...
This post features the beautiful Lisa + Paul... I met Lisa after doing some work for a charity event she was working at for the Princes Trust and after a few of these events we knew of each other quite well. So when it came to her planning her own wedding, she knew exactly who to call... and I was thrilled to bits when they asked me to photograph their wedding!
Lisa + Paul held their wedding ceremony at Avoncroft Museum. A group of close family and friends saw them both tie the knot and then celebrated with them afterwards with a drink or two, before heading over to the wedding reception at a local village hall. While all of their wedding guests made their way to the evening do, I stayed with the newly-weds to capture a few moments around the Museum. It was a lovely chance for the couple to relax while I took their wedding portraits, knowing that their guests were happily occupied at the reception. When the bride and groom arrived at their party, everyone gave them a cheery welcome and the BBQ was lit... and then for pudding was the cake table... yum!
Here are a few of my favourite from their wedding day... thanks for reading! Sam x
