Bluebell wood wedding ceremony in worcestershire // Christie + Ben

So when your mate owns a little field that is covered in bluebells during the month of May, where else would you choose to get married? You can only imagine how excited I was to hear all of Christie + Ben's wedding plans, and how thrilled I was when they asked me to be their wedding photographer. This was the first outdoor wedding ceremony I had shot, and it was a stunning one!

Christie + Ben had a quick registry office ceremony on the morning of their wedding to make everything legal, and then made preparations to have their dream wedding outdoors. Christie always used to explore as a child in woods and had always dreamed of getting married among the bluebells. Christie got ready at her parents house along with her sister and best friend who were bridesmaids. Guests sat on hay bales and Christie arrived by tractor... of course! The non-legal ceremony took place within the bluebells. They exchanged rings and said their vows in front of all their family and friends.

The after party was held at Rock village hall in Bewdley, Worcestershire. It was a super chilled out day that was filled with tons of love and lots of laughs.

I love looking back at all my clients happy days! Thanks Christie and Ben for having me on your super fun day!

Love Sam x
